Upgrade for existing client and removal of cartridge-based printers brings considerable savings

I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation to Chris Rumble and the rest of the team at Quadtronix for reducing our print and copy costs in excess of 100% due to the installation of our new Canon imageRUNNER 6570 at our Distribution Centre in Acton.
As an existing customer of Quadtronix since November 2005 when we had a Canon imageRUNNER 3300 installed at our Head Office, we were already aware of the excellent service and support we received. We particularly enjoyed the personal attention of having our own dedicated account manager as a single point of contact.
Last year, due to business growth, we found that this device was no longer fast enough for our volume and we decided to upgrade to a faster machine. Chris came in to discuss our requirements and recommended a Canon imageRUNNER 6570. The machine was delivered and installed and handled our workload with ease. Whilst Chris was looking at our needs for Head Office, I expressed my concern at the print/copy strategy we currently had in place at our Distribution Centre in Acton. We were producing approximately 30,000 prints per month on desktop laser printers. Initially, these printers were very cheap to buy and met out meets but as demands had grown, so to had the number of printers and we found we were now spending an excessive amount of money on cartridges.
Chris suggested he visit the site and look at the layout, the number of devices, the print volume and current expenditure to enable him to provide a proposed solution which would save us money. After analysis, he recommended the same multifunctional we were using at Head Office. This device could easily cope with the total volume being produced and could be networked so all users had access.
As before, the installation went smoothly and not only did we save a considerable amount on cartridges we also had more desk and office space and certainly more space in our stationery cupboard. The additional functionality of this multifunctional, i.e. double-sided printing, scanning and A3 made life easier for our staff. We also saved time on the managing and administration of multiple devices.
Both our devices have remote monitoring software which means we don’t even have to waste time calling for consumables or engineers as this is handled automatically. Our toners and engineers arrive before we know we need them!
I particularly like the fact that we can now also say we are much more eco-friendly and energy efficient, therefore reducing our carbon footprint and our impact on the environment.
It is also a huge benefit receiving one invoice per quarter for all our charges. There are no extras and no surprises. Usage is based on actual meter readings which are taken automatically by the remote monitoring software. It all makes life so much simpler for us.
Our staff are happier with the new device and the additional functions, our productivity has increased and our costs have gone down, what more could we ask?
