CopySmart is the software tool for a simple-to-use, quick-to-learn and really fast inkjet or LED copy from any large format SmartLF scanner. CopySmart uses specially written internal plotter drivers and a file based TIFF driver for accurate copy size control, minimum paper wastage and minimum configuration effort. Printer data is routed via the existing printer's Windows driver connection and copying often begins just seconds after pressing Copy. Printers that are not part of CopySmart's supported printer list can still be used but must be configred using conventional Windows methods. CopySmart can be color calibrated (profiled) to any paper and ink by the customer in minutes using the supplied IT8 target and in-built calibration Wizard. NEW - CopySmart can now be used with other third party RIPs (raster image processors) by selecting the TIFF file driver. This allows the data from any copy operation, black & white or colour, to be routed automatically to any folder using a standard browse box. This means the highly efficient front-end of CopySmart can be combined with any existing RIP software and its own profiling system to produce top-quality, queue managed copies from any SmartLF scanner. NOTE: RIP job queue management allows the operator to reposition print jobs, to store partially ripped print jobs on disk and also to reprint them as required. CopySmart can quickly be switched to different paper supplies and profiles and even different printers on a network with the minimum of user keystrokes. New ink and paper profiles can be added by the customer at any time by simply running the internal profiler (Wizard controlled).
