The Duplo DP-S850 Duprinter is a high volume, 600x600dpi, A3 printer with built-in book scanner and computer interface. Part of the HDi High Definition Imaging Range, the combination of master material, high carbon soy ink and quality thermal heads, produces outstanding prints with rich unbroken solids and excellent half tones.
It can print on paper, card and even windowed envelopes at up to a blistering 150 pages per minute with energy consumption of just 240W! The cost-per-copy on the Duplo DP-S850 falls as the duplication run increases, undercutting more conventional high-volume printers and photocopiers by as much as 75% on consumables and energy.
For organisations frequently producing 30+ copies of a single document the Duplo DP-S850 is an ideal solution offering economy, versatility and productivity. The excellent engineering and simple design yields incredible reliability with 1,000,000+ prints per year regarded as normal usage.

Enhanced Print Quality - 600x600dpi
 Various built-in print modes enable incredible levels of quality to be achieved. When enabled, the DP-S850 print settings are automatically optimised to match the original and generated a superb copy of the original at 600x600dpi.
Print darkness, plate darkness and contrast can be indepently controlled so even difficult quality requirements can be achieved.
High Productivity
 With a maximum print speed of 150ppm (A4) and a master making time of just a few seconds, a 1000 sheet copy run is completed in less than 10 minutes from the time the machine is switched on.
Ecological
 The DP-S850 Duprinter has been engineered for ultra-low energy usage. There’s no warm-up time, and a power saving stand-by mode cuts in after 5 minutes. Even when operating at 150ppm will consume just 240W of energy. The HDi models are the amongst the most energy efficient models ever produced.
Low-Cost Printing
 Duprinters work on the 'economies of scale' principle: the more you produce the lower the cost-per-copy becomes.
Duprinters are at their most cost-effective on runs from 30-5000 prints with prices a fraction of that on a photocopier.

 A touch screen control panel guides the operator easily through the simple printing process. Fully featured user friendly functions include print preview, print mode selection, image shift, print quantity, reduction/enlargement and speed.
Envelope & Card Printing
 The Duplo DP-S850 has an incredibly hardwearing feed mechansim allowing the printing of envelopes and card.
The heat-free print process means even windowed and pre-gummed envelopes can be handled too
Copy from Books
 The versatile platen top can scan from books as well as sheets. The built-in book shadow erasure function means that when scanning from a book the spine shadow can be removed.
Print Direct from PCs & Macs
 The Duplo DP-S850 comes with a built-in USB interface allowing direct connection to PCs and Macs.
With this feature the DP-S850 can produce incredible quality through the use of the Duprinter Driver software.
Optional LAN kits are also available for networking environments.
Optional Spot-Colour Printing
 Add extra visual impact to documents with spot-colour. Duprinters are mono-printers but the heat-free process means documents can be run through multiple times building up more colours on the page.
12 standard colours are available off the shelf with a Pantone® colour matching service enabling custom or corporate colours to be recreated.
Batch Sorting (Optional)
 Where print jobs need arranging in set-quantities the optional tape inserter is an invaluable tool. It threads a piece of tape between each set for accurate batch quantities and easy sorting.
Usage Monitoring (Optional)
 Offers the ability to restrict use to authorised personnel only and is also a way of monitoring usage. This is particularly beneficial in departmentalised organisations for cost management.
Copy Multi-Page Documents (Optional)
 The automatic document feeder can hold up to 80 sheets of paper meaning the operator can set the machine up to print a series of documents without supervision. It also allows 2 documents to combined into 1.
