Office productivity
Faster scanning speeds allow users to be more productive. A new onboard processing chip allows the scanner to maintain its top speed while several image-processing features are switched on and while scanning in Black & White, Greyscale and Colour formats.
Versatility
A larger feeder capacity lets you scan bigger batches in one continuous operation, which in turn increases productivity. The feeder height has three settings to accommodate varied batch sizes, with feeding modes including Automatic, Bypass and Manual. Long Paper Scanning accommodates documents up to 3m such as electrocardiograms, instrumental data readings and log files. Documents up to A1 size including architect plans and drawings are easily scanned with Folio Mode.
User Friendly
The control panel is conveniently located in a lower eye level position allowing for easy access when seated. Same side paper feed and exit scanning benefits all the scanner's operators, allowing them to be more productive and hit their daily targets.

Advanced image processing cuts down your manual document sorting and post processing time. Features include Advanced Text Enhancement, Remove Background and Colour Dropout offer increased accuracy and reliability, especially for OCR processing applications.

Productivity when it matters
The DR-6050C captures a quick 60 ppm while scanning in colour, and black and white, at resolutions of 300dpi (A4, Portrait). A dedicated onboard image-processing chip achieves full rated speeds even when multiple image processing functions are selected.
Operator conscience design
The front–feed design of the DR-6050C provides both comfort and convenience allowing you to load, feed and remove documents effortlessly whilst seated. Furthermore, the control panel and job buttons are all designed to be easily viewable at eye-level.

An automatic A3 feeder deals with batches of up to 300 sheets and supports 3 different paper feed modes. The robust feeding mechanism feeds and separates mixed documents with ease and, in the rare event of an error, an ultrasonic double feed detection sensor immediately notifies the user for instant problem resolution.
The DR-6050C boasts strong environmental credentials too and is one of the most energy efficient scanners in its class.
